Full Description:

The Vestry and staff of All Saints' Church had known for some time that a new direction from the Lord was needed for what He wants for us as a church, and how He wants us to move ahead as His people in this community. After praying and listening to God for months, seeking his new Vision for All Saints' Church, John Guernsey shared what the Lord is calling All Saints' to be and to do in his sermon on Sunday, March 25, 2001. This new Vision is exciting beyond words and is both completely consistent with what we already are and seek to be, and at the same time awesome in its scope and implications. Senior Warden George Liffert spoke after the sermon to share the strong support of the Vestry for this vision. We now have a new Vision. We have the short, bumper-sticker expression of it. And we have a longer, more detailed expression of the Vision. And we have some big, objective, measurable goals to guide us as we live into this Vision. Our Vision: "Overflowing with God's love and healing power."
